Private tours of Jim Dine: Dog on the Forge are now available courtesy of Art Asset Management Group.
The Studio is pleased to announce that Xiliary Twil will be conducting private tours through Dog on the Forge, at the Palazzo Rocca on the Dorsoduro, Venice, Italy.
Jim Dine’s ambitious installation of 32 works of sculpture, paintings and drawings, is part of the Collateral Events of the 60th International Art Exhibition – La Biennale di Venezia, Stranieri Ovunque – Foreigners Everywhere. These tours are presented for journalists, curators, collectors, educators, critics, and advisors.
With her trademark sense of humor and discerning eye, Xiliary will take you through the exhibition, providing valuable insight to the work and offering behind-the-scenes stories and history of the Palazzo Rocca.
Recently, Xiliary and her firm, Art Asset Management Group, was brought onboard by the Jim Dine Studio in Paris, to enlighten the public about Dog on the Forge, as well as, Dine’s importance as an artist in today’s art world, through digital and social media engagement.
Xiliary Twil is the founder and president of Art Asset Management Group, a fine art asset planning firm. As an art historian, she is a qualified expert in modern and contemporary art, bringing her vast knowledge of art history and 44 years’ experience in the art world to these specialized tours. A fellow Cincinnati native, Xiliary has been working with Jim Dine since 2001 when she was the director of Jonathan Novak Contemporary, Los Angeles.
