American painter, sculptor and poet Jim Dine has transformed the Palazzo Rocca Contarini Corfù in an ambitious survey exhibition curated by Gerhard Steidl, Founding Director of the Kunsthaus Göttingen. Jim Dine - Dog on the Forge is a Collateral Event of the 60th International Art Exhibition – La Biennale di Venezia, Stranieri Ovunque – Foreigners Everywhere, curated by Adriano Pedrosa. The exhibition opens to the public on Saturday, 20 April 2024 and runs through 21 July 2024.

As you enter the palatial Cabinet Room you are met with large bronze sculptures of Venus And Neptune, 2023, and Dog on the Forge, 2023. Suspended above: Roma-holy Infant, 2023, oil, acrylic, and objects on three wood panels.
Pinocchio wood sculptures installed at the Ingresso of the Grand Canal at the palazzo.
In the Giardini, Bird, Me, and Tool, 2024, bronze, positioned harmoniously in the 17th-century landscape.
The Cave in the palazzo featuring Noche, Noche, 2003 a unique cast bronze sculpture, and self-portrait oil paintings from 2020.
